Ukhwah Fillah: A Kalimah Lost in Translation

"Ukhwah Fillah." says a friend to another after finishing chatting in the net. This kalimah is said after they have shared a conversation together on boys, fashion, love story or even gossips.

One may wonder, How could a kalimah so beautiful just being peppered anywhere and by anyone?
This kalimah is laden with beautiful meanings, denote the powerful strength of relationship among the muslim, a kalimah that can unite muslims all around the globe no matter what colour they wear on their skin.

Ukhwah
means friendship, relationship, bond. Whereas filLah means just for the sake of Allah. Together it signifies a relationship a bond that are build just for the sake of Allah. This relationship is like no other. Nothing can come between two brothers who befriend for Allah. They will help each other in good or bad times. They will remind each other on doing good deeds to Allah.

They will help each other in avoiding themselves to do bad thing. They love their sahabah because the sahabah love Allah. Ukhwah goes hand in hand with iman. There will be no ukhwah without iman and noiman without ukhwah.

We don't want this kalimah to be used by those people who think that they are doing something for Allah just by saying this kalimah without having any meaning to it. We also don't want people to use thiskalimah as a camouflage to do things for their own benefit.

So, let us spread the ukhwah to the heart of every muslim. Share our experience and thoughts with them and guide them to the path of Allah. InsyaAllah,,Allah will guide us throughout the way...
